Shah Foundation’s Blood Drive Draws Strong Community Participation and Receives Special Recognition from New York Blood Center

In a powerful demonstration of compassion, community spirit, and social responsibility, the Shah Foundation successfully hosted a blood drive dedicated to saving lives and serving the community. The day-long initiative brought together people from diverse backgrounds, with residents of Jackson Heights joining enthusiastically in support of this vital humanitarian cause.

The event was inaugurated by Hosneara Choudhury, Co-Founder of the Shah Foundation. During the program, the New York Blood Center presented the Shah Foundation with a Certificate of Appreciation Citation, recognizing the Foundation’s longstanding contributions to humanitarian service, community welfare, and health-related initiatives.

The recognition was not only an honor for the Foundation but also a tribute to the collective spirit of the donors, volunteers, supporters, and community members whose generosity helps save lives.

In her opening remarks, Hosneara Choudhury said, “The Shah Foundation is committed not only to life-saving initiatives such as blood donation, but also to building bridges of compassion and unity within our community. We hope these efforts will continue to inspire future generations.”

She added that the Foundation plans to expand its community service initiatives and introduce more programs aimed at supporting and strengthening the community.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to all blood donors, volunteers, residents of Jackson Heights, the New York Blood Center team, and everyone who contributed to making the initiative a success.

The blood drive began at 1:00 p.m. and continued throughout the day. The professional team from the New York Blood Center efficiently conducted the blood collection process, while the enthusiastic participation of Jackson Heights residents added tremendous warmth and energy to the event.

The Shah Foundation’s blood drive ultimately became more than a community service program—it became a powerful reminder that when humanity comes together, even a single act of kindness can become a lifeline for someone in need.
